What is Prop Trading?
Mike Katz is the Managing Partner of Seven Points Capital – a proprietary trading firm. I think their model is the best I’ve seen in the prop space. It goes back to the roots of prop trading where you get hired because you’re good and they give you their capital to trade WITHOUT your needing to put up your own money. They also train you and make the financial commitment to you. They do well only when you do well.
I’m not aware of another firm like this.
