China has to import 4 times the amount of corn it can grow itself just for hog feed. Unless the demand for pork has declined I don’t see how they will cut corn imports by a whopping 60%?

Interesting comments on the corn and pork. Here’s another twist I’m getting ready to play:
The hog/corn ratio has collapsed and taken out the ’08 historic low. I am waiting patiently for my entry signal to buy the hog/corn spread. If corn doesn’t break off…then the hogs should take off! Either way, it simply a bet that the relationship between hogs and corn cannot stay this low for the next several months. Any thoughts on this idea?
