Guggenheim Partners has made seven senior hires for its prop trading division, Guggenheim Global Trading, and is poised to hire up to 150 traders for the unit scheduled to launch in September.
GGT is in the process of recruiting 20-25 experienced trading groups for its fundamental long/short equity, quantitative long/short equity, long/short credit and event-driven/risk arbitrage strategies.
