Everyone makes stupid mistakes. The longer you live, the more of them you will make. You may say you'll "never make that mistake again", and you might not, but you will make its brother, sister, nephew, etc. After its over, you'll look back and know you should have seen it.

I should know.

It shouldn't matter what market you trade, as long as it makes large enough moves from time to time and you have sufficient capital so that you can extract some profit in the middle of the move. It's all those stop-outs that punish you into quitting right before the "big move". Then its "woulda, shoulda, coulda".

I very much enjoy your writings. Good luck with whatever you do and pass on to your students that the markets will be here long after they have left the stage. No need to hurry.

All investing is speculation.
